I can’t believe I almost let this deal slip by… anyhow I managed to get it just in the nick of time. There are a couple of days left on the Don KIKI Red label Churchill deal, in case you might be interested. It’s basically a great medium-bodied cigar from the guys at Cuban Crafters, and a steal at under $30 bucks. I especially like the Churchills in the red label but there are also some Double Coronas available if anyone finds the Churchill to be just too much cigar. Whenever I light up in my lounge, either by myself or with a few fellow aficionados, I need to feel like I’ve done everything possible to set up for a great smoking evening. I got comfortable lounge chairs, good ventilation, big screen T.V., and yes… enough cool ashtrays to go around.

At first I was a bit surprised at how difficult it can be to get nice, large ceramic ashtrays. Then I realized that you just have to grab them whenever you see them advertised. So, here’s an ashtray special I just ordered from J.R. Cigar. Just buy any box of the CAO range and get the interestingly shaped ashtray.

*** UPDATE — I just saw this ashtray advertized for $98 all by itself!!! Boy am I glad I got it with a box of Robustos for $117,00.

Man, I just love the holidays. I can’t help but be amazed at how retailers go nuts competing for our hard earned cash.

Well, with Christmas comes the J.L. Salazar Toro deal. This cigar is probably the best stick Cuban Crafters has to offer. It’s a full bodied stallion of a cigar for sure, but one that is extremely well balanced.

Here we go people. The media has been buzzing about how early Walmart pulled the Christmas garb this year in an effort to shift everyone into holiday shopping mode. Well, here’s a “holiday” early bird from cigar one. These probably aren’t the absolute cheapest Cuban cigars around, but when they throw in free shipping, that really gets me thinking: a reputable dealer, genuine Cuban cigars, and free shipping? …not a bad start, even if the holidays are over a month off. Well, here’s a couple of really good deals from our friends at Cuban Crafters. This time I’m having a hard time picking out what to get. Right off the bat I can vouch for the Don Kiki Red Label, the Cuban Crafters Chairman, and the Cuban Crafters Cameroon Robusto.

There are a few other interesting deals though, like the Carolina Churchills, the Salute to Arms editions, and a few buck a gars that don’t seem bad a t all.
