So I guess the lesson here is, bring your own? haha.

Nice video, I'm a match-lighting fan myself, but I've been using torches for a bit and find them to be just as good if used patiently. Afterall, the idea is to put small amounts of heat energy into the end of the roll to create an even layer of embers. How that energy is produced really doesn't matter.

Thanks for the video. I think some of my bad experiences with cigars has come from poor lighting. Watching how you were able to completely light the cigar by 'warming' (without drawing) was very helpful. I was doing more of my lighting by puffing and lighting, which resulted in a bitter or harsh taste and poor burn.

Keep up the good work.

[...] This belicoso is a very robust smoke, but it’s not overpowering. You will definitely want to enjoy a full meal before sitting down with this one, and a strong refreshment is advised. I pulled an old bottle of Oban from the back of the liquor cabinet — Edan’s video reminded me I still had a couple drams left in the bottle. (And a better cigar to accompany it.)
Roy, that was funny!! You know, my ring is featured in almost all my photos here.

While I have occasionally used matches to light a cigar, I usually use my torch; though purists would certainly object to it. I'll think about that. I'll have to order some Philly Blunts from the US . . .
